August 15th, a member of the finder's family, Penelope Stanford, commented:
"This cat has found its owners. Had been missing since winter. How wonderful."
PEILPN asked, "How far from home was he?"
Penelope Stanford replied, "Abt 7 miles. By fields. He went out on a snowy day. And never came back. His hair is nearly gone and he is skin and bones. But was Sooo happy to find its owners. I'm thrilled too"
A comment from Molly's family:
Melanie Nicholson MacFarlane wrote, "good morning everyone....this is our sweet boy Molly (long story why he has a girls name lol!) he was an indoor/outdoor cat and went missing around February (?) we are so happy to have him back and so are his fur family (Lily, our dog, and Sally our other cat)"
